A SIMPLY CONNECTED SURFACE OF GENERAL TYPE with . . .
Motivated by a recent result of Y. Lee and the second author [7], we construct a simply connected, minimal, complex surface of general type with pg = 0 and K 2 = 3 using a rational blow-down surgery and a Q-Gorenstein smoothing theory.
متن کاملConnected Surface of General Type
Motivated by a recent result of Y. Lee and the second author [9], we construct a simply connected minimal complex surface of general type with pg = 0 and K 2 = 3 using a rational blow-down surgery and Q-Gorenstein smoothing theory. In a similar fashion, we also construct a new simply connected symplectic 4-manifold with b + 2 = 1 and K 2 = 4.
متن کاملOn 5-dimensional 2-step homogeneous randers nilmanifolds of Douglas type
In this paper we first obtain the non-Riemannian Randers metrics of Douglas type on two-step homogeneous nilmanifolds of dimension five. Then we explicitly give the flag curvature formulae and the $S$-curvature formulae for the Randers metrics of Douglas type on these spaces. Moreover, we prove that the only simply connected five-dimensional two-step homogeneous Randers nilmanifolds of D...
متن کاملSome results of semilocally simply connected property
If we consider some special conditions, we can assume fundamental group of a topological space as a new topological space. In this paper, we will present a number of theorems in topological fundamental group related to semilocally simply connected property for a topological space.
متن کاملTwo-Dimensional Boundary-Conforming Orthogonal Grids for External and Internal Flows Using Schwarz-Christoffel Transformation
In this paper, a Schwarz-Christoffel method for generating two-dimensional grids for a variety of complex internal and external flow configurations based on the numerical integration procedure of the Schwarz-Christoffel transformation has been developed by using Mathematica, which is a general purpose symbolic-numerical-graphical mathematics software. This method is highly accurate (fifth order...
